lady macbeth theatre

Filmed live at The Drayton Arms in London with a three-camera setup. The play is roughly 2 hours long and is an alternative story of Shakespeare’s Macbeth, focusing on Lady Macbeth’s side of the story. The film was intended as archive, however is now being sent to theatres and investors to keep the play alive. To support this process, I put together a punchy trailer.

Anti-vaxxers

Pre-pandemic, a team of 8 people came together to join a 48-hour film challenge in Bournemouth. We were given a prompt (the end), and a prop (an axe), which had to be in the film. Otherwise, we could make whatever film we wanted! It also had to be a maximum length of 5 minutes and submitted within 48 hours of the initial brief. Out of around 20 films, Anti-vaxxers came in 4th place!

On this production, I was script editor, onset director, camera operator, and co-editor. And am very proud of what we achieved within 48 hours.

Outlaw Legacy

This short film was my first fictional film where I was given the position of director of photography. I loved the planning of it; drawing the storyboards, making sure each shot was going to stitch together well in the edit, and how to frame the shots so that the emotion of the characters and story were best represented.

The Sightless

This project unfortunately cancelled before production, due to the pandemic. Instead of a full-blown production, we thought we’d properly test the key scenes of the film, whilst in lockdown. My flatmate Thomas Van Koetsveld, his girlfriend Morgan Bull, and I had a lot of fun being creative with only what we had access to.

I’m very pleased with the end result and would love to make the full version in the coming years.
